Everest Properties recently completed the "streamlined infill EIR" for 2036 Bancroft, and 87-unit for-rent development proposed by the city's largest landlord. The "streamlined EIR" is 154 pages.

I think the most disconcerting thing about Driver Staring At Phone is that they think it's OK to just stare at their lap, eventually realize by peripheral cues that other cars are moving, then hit the gas with absolutely no awareness of what is going on.

Chat, WDYT? Would it have been easier to lift this @bart.gov escalator out and replace it using a mobile crane before building the canopy? With the old clipper system, you could tap your phone even if your phone was off or even if the phone was dead, it would still work. With the new clipper readers if you do that with a dead phone it says "see agent". Feels like a regression.
