AMPA receptor gating proceeds through an intermediate pre-active state that has structurally remained an enigma. We used cryo-EM as well as full and partial agonists to resolve this state and for the first time structurally reveal the complete gating pathway of AMPARs. www.nature.com/articles/s41...

Interesting results. Perampanel (AMPA blocker approved for epilepsy) has a big effect on T-cell mobilisation. Perhaps an off-target effect? Maybe I missed a KO control using the floxed GluA123 mouse. But useful either way, given that Pmp is quite mild. #iGluRs www.science.org/doi/epdf/10....
