Dyna-1, developed by Scripps Research professor Dorothee Kern and colleagues, predicts micro-to-millisecond protein dynamics in roughly 30 seconds. Published in Nature, the model was trained on missing NMR assignments to identify protein regions likely to move.

ECG-CLIP outperformed other ECG foundation models when labeled data were limited, as few as 10 positive examples of a disease. The Lancet Digital Health study, led by Giorgio Quer, also found that ECG-CLIP better predicted future atrial fibrillation from ECGs displaying normal heart rhythms.

A new Nature Communications study from Jiang Zhu's lab reports a structure-guided strategy to stabilize influenza hemagglutinin (HA) trimers for nanoparticle vaccines. In preclinical models, the nanoparticles showed prolonged lymph node retention and elicited more robust immune responses.
