I don't know that any single part always feels easy to me. I know what's always hard for me, but easy? That's a lot more difficult for me to pin down. I think that writing character chemistry is something that is always easier at least.

At the start, she assumes people's warmth toward her comes with hidden motives, and she tends to come across as snappy and sarcastic as a defense mechanism. By the end of the book, she is surrounded by found family, no longer needing to build walls and protect herself.

#WritingPrompt Milly starts off as quick to throw hands and uncertain of her entire being (no idea about father, no idea about herself, abilities she's not cognizant of but uses daily) and ends off knowing herself and both her parents and STILL quick to throw hands, but they also have claws now.

Finn was hopeful, excited, and gentle. By the end of Two for Slashing he's exhausted, and a little traumatized. It carries into Book 2, but I tried to keep his youthful excitement. Jude gets progressively more exhausted. Adam gets angrier and depressed. Noah gets drunk.
