// the flight spoilers, blood YOU CAN'T FIGHT IT // WE WILL WIN

Ian Haramaki 🏳️‍⚧️✨ @cometkins.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Hi everyone! I'm here to help my friend @olivejkelley.bsky.social reveal the cover for their next book, Watkins & Hemlock: Ouroboros! It's currently free to read online (watkinsandhemlock.com) and the KS for it begins Oct 20th! Please send them your support! (Art by @morlevart.bsky.social)

Jim Watkins, a military doctor turned FBI agent, itches to return to the field after stagnant months recovering from a serial bomber attack that nearly killed him. His first case back throws him into the orbit of forensic consultant Sterling Hemlock, a strange, handsome genius. Despite being Watkins’s polar opposite, Hemlock immediately fills a gap in the investigation—and in the agent’s life.

Told through the lens of Watkins’s blog posts, OUROBOROS follows the duo of crime fighters across six gripping cases. From a political poisoning (or two), a gruesome murder on a queer cruise, to the resurgence of a violent old enemy, Watkins and Hemlock find that between the two of them, there’s no case they can’t solve.

Watkins & Hemlock is a serial novel that revisits and reimagines the classic story of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson through a queer lens in the modern era. OUROBOROS is the first volume.

Heyyy everybody! Myself a bunch of other authors are holding a sale on our books + services from 4/20-4/27. MERCY is on sale for 99c on Kindle, and it's a great time to grab it before I release MAGUS some time this year. This is likely the last sale before then! books2read.com/MercyNovel More in 🧵

This art of Tesya Karlov by Mike Pape is basically the reason for why a lot of Mercy is the way it is. MtG in general is if you know my history, but this particular image is the big one. The equal opportunity boob windows are a result of this lol

I'm gonna be (hopefully) having print copies of Resta at C2E2 this year so I decided to give it a better cover and whew I think it came out nice. Got all these assets from the MET's open source section.
