#TBBChat the thing I'm currently editing takes place starting in late fall and going through winter, and yes it's something that means a lot. The fairy MC falls in love with a Jewish guy and how they deal with the holiday season - family, cranberry based accidents, etc. - is meaningful.

#WIPSnips From the thing I'm editing - Getting the Picture (which used to be called The Fairy Thought of You). The MC is a gancanagh - a fey species that humans categorize as seducers, but in my world they're really matchmakers because they have love magic.

“Well, I know you’re not very observant, but even the agnostic and atheistic Jews I knew back in the Boston area tended to celebrate Hannukah. I’ve even been to a few dinners.” I didn’t mention that those dinners were back in the late 1980s, but I doubted things had changed that much with American Jews in the years since.
