This is from British politics, but given that this horseshit is global— There are NO tax cuts in modern times in the US or the UK that are “paying for themselves”. This is a peddled fairytale, and you should heap scorn on anyone pitching it to you. Just laugh in their face, send them running

Sheriffs & DAs have huge powers over criminal justice, e.g.: often deciding how much local assistance ICE gets. So I worked all year on whittling down the thousands (!) of these races happening in 2026 to find the ones that matter most. NEW TODAY: Learn about the 25 most pivotal November races.

For all his anti-Trump grandstanding, Newsom is hopelessly ill-suited to handle this authoritarian moment. If Americans want to restore their democracy, they should kick out every one of these establishment Dem assholes at the soonest opportunity.

AG Bonta, the goal was for you to not allow massive media consolidation in the hands of autocrats and their acolytes, and you're announcing the terms of how they bought you off. You can't sell that here.

You do not hate Gavin Newsom enough. You just simply don't. If you have any hate for this Patrick Bateman boss boot licker in your heart, triple it. That's a start. Media consolidation at this scale is venom straight into the veins of the public. Insane how fast they caved before the midterms.

The crudest thing about Trump 2 is the *mixing* of personal corruption with government business—arbitrary US moves can be appealed only by funneling money to Trump and family. One is continually struck by the hollowness of a Supreme Court that decided to SPECIFICALLY SHIELD that co-mingling!

• While employed by OpenAI, Mr. Liu also exploited a rare, previously unknown authentication bug to access Apple's shared network folders.' Upon discovering that he had this unauthorized access to Apple's systems, Mr. Liu did not report it, return his stolen Apple-issued work laptop, or delete the program that allowed the access.
• Instead, he celebrated his improper access, exclaiming in a message left on his colleague's Apple-issued work laptop "LOL" and that it was "so funny." Then, over several weeks,
while developing hardware for OpenAl, Mr. Liu surreptitiously accessed and downloaded dozens of Apple's confidential hardware-related files, including voluminous, detailed information about unreleased products, engineering presentations, technical specifications, and proprietary project data.
