I've yet to hear how all Andy Burnham's grand plans for England will result in Barnet formula consequentials that will allow the Scottish Government to spend on similar projects. Latest one of 210 million. And read the amendment at the bottom of this news from bbc www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Dividends paid to UK citizens taxed at rates of 8.75% to 39.35%, lower rate than wages. Dividends mostly go to the top 1%. £6bn a year raised if dividends taxed at the same rate as wages. More if NIC levied. Unlike the US, France, Germany, no UK tax levied on dividends paid to foreign investors.

BBC Security Corr Frank Gardner: ‘A clear inconsistency over the RAF Fairford incident.’
‘There is a clear inconsistency here between the detailed and convincing account given by the local farmer who sounded the alarm when she saw the masked and hooded men near the vans and the claim by Donald Trump that "we have had these men under view for a long time".
14
{7 13
58If the US president's words are correct then somebody was asleep at the wheel in allowing these men to get so close to the base as to trigger what's being called a major incident.
But Whitehall officials have been clear that this was not an "intelligence-led operation".
In those instances Counter Terrorism Policing
(CTP) work closely with investigations officers from MI5 to track suspects and aim to arrest them in what is often a frighteningly short window between gathering enough incriminating evidence to convict them in court but not waiting so long that the public is put in danger.
Nothing about this case looks like that.

In any society there's likely to be a fairly large minority (mostly men) who quite fancy the idea of dressing up in uniform and intimidating people. These are the same type of people who joined the Sturmabteilung (the Brownshirts) and Mosley's Blackshirts in the 1920s & 30s.
