I once followed a raid into a stream where one of the redeems was "dance white boy dance" and the cooldown was 30 seconds or maybe even less. The guy must've had to stop playing every few minutes or so to dance horribly because of it. He didn't seem to mind, but that must get so damn tiring...

So, to reiterate, controlling a streamer is a bad thing. But setting up a hydrate and/or stretch redeem is good, and not just for the streamer. Whenever I see the redeem pop, I also follow along. I take some sips of water, get up and stretch a bit. Stay healthy, my friends!

It's important to remain hydrated, even when you're not working out. Your body is still processing water. You still sweat. Your kidneys and liver still filter your blood. Dehydration is one of the most common causes of minor to moderate headaches. And staring at a screen for hours doesn't help.

There's only one thing I'm okay with when it comes to "controlling" a streamer: A self-care redeem. Hydration, stretching, things like that. I know there are streamers out there that, just like me, get so focused on the game that they forget to drink water or get up and stretch.

I can't sleep so I took the survey Twitch sent out about "interactive features" and told them I think it's creating an unhealthy culture to train people that they should be able to control what streamers do. It's dehumanizing and weird. I'm very glad my regular audience isn't like that.

The Child Care and Development Fund is a state-administered federal program that serves about 40,000 children in Indiana as of March, according to Tuesday’s presentation. Families must meet income and work requirements to qualify for the assistance.

The agency found “0 instances of fraud that required referral for prosecution” during its unannounced visits to the facilities, Barlow said. Investigators checked that the facilities were open with children present.
