A jeopardy question: "pedants argue about whether this verb should be used as a synonym of its 7-letter dictionary neighbor compose."

The answer is comprise, which I was complaining about pedantically in the post to which Ken Jennings made the below reply.

David, Jeanette, and Nicky all gravitate toward "amazing hole in the wall" but Nicky would not say No to the hot dog cart. Molly partakes in both Michelin fine dining experiences and incognito visits to wonderful hole-in-wall places. ¿Por qué no los dos? and all that! #WritingPrompts

Butterbutt. An older comic.
A four-panel comic titled "yellow-rumped warbler poem". In panel 1, a yellow-rumped warbler stands on a branch in a late autumn scene, and says "Fall is here." In panel 2, the warbler watches a brown leaf fall to the ground, and says "Winter's near." In panel 3, the warbler faces the viewer as brown leaves fall, and says "Need some cheer?" In panel 4, the warbler is showing its luminous yellow rump, and cheerfully says "See my rear."

If I knew anything about screenwriting, I would write the script for an origin story of Walter Peck, the EPA agent in Ghostbusters, that recasts him as a tragic hero. Showing how he was correctly responding to a legitimate public safety threat, and thwarted at every turn.

I saw these 1920s glasses glowing in a shop window and I had to have them. They are even more iridescent in person 🤩
Four small cordial glasses and four slightly larger coupe glasses, each with clear glass, bell-shaped cups and thin brown glass stems. The delicate glasses sit on a tray near the window where they can catch the light. The light illuminates the clear glass which has been treated in a way that gives them an iridescent shine like a soap bubbleFour small cordial glasses and four slightly larger coupe glasses, each with clear glass, bell-shaped cups and thin brown glass stems. A fantastic painted turtle stands on a snag in a stream. Turtle has a smooth black carapace with bright red edges. Its neck and legs are a glorious riot of yellow racing stripes. It has its neck fully extended staring at the sky and the back right leg and foot are completely extended. This is an epic pose by a creature at the peak of its powers.

Humaning.
A four-panel comic. In panel 1, a Northern Cardinal and American Goldfinch perch above a busy crowd in a city, looking down. The cardinal says "It's a nice day to go humaning." The goldfinch says "Just look at them. Majestic." In panel 2, a close-up of the two birds. The cardinal says "Nobody tells you that you'll reach a certain age and suddenly get into humaning. I hit 3 years old, and then bam."The birds are looking out over the crowd scene. In panel 3, the cardinal says "Their calls sound funny to us, but each one has a unique meaning." Below, people are saying various things: "I'm tired." "Where's my phone?" "I'd murder a burrito." In panel 4, the birds look down excitedly at a man walking by. The cardinal says "Wait, is that a guy who got dressed in the dark and put his shirt on inside out and backwards?" And the goldfinch exclaims, "Holy... that's a lifer!"
