When he speaks for the U.S., he's generally not talking about the government. He's saying he will prohibit U.S. businesses from exporting American products, while preventing Americans from buying European products. This isn't a slap at the EU. It's an attack on American businesses and consumers.

The National Post published an article defending the white nationalist Dominion Society because, they propose, 8% of Canadians *could,* "for argument's sake" support ethnic cleansing—meaning it's more popular than the NDP. They Included a legal argument but did not disclose the author was disbarred.
Polls have shown that roughly half of Canadians believe immigration levels are too high. Let’s say for argument’s sake that only eight per cent of Canadians support remigration, and 92 per cent oppose it. Should having only eight per cent support for your opinion mean losing your right to rent government-owned facilities, and to use public spaces like parks and sidewalks?

If yes, then no government facilities should be available for rental by the NDP, which garnered only 6.3 per cent of the popular vote in Canada’s most recent federal election. Almost 94 per cent of Canadians rejected the NDP in 2025. Yet the NDP is not disqualified from being able to exercise its Charter freedoms of expression, association and peaceful assembly.

Both Canada and the US are claiming that the other side made last-minute demands that torpedoed a trade deal, and it’s hard to know whether to believe Carney, or the guy who has a long and well-documented history of reneging on his word. www.bloomberg.com/news/article...
The two sides blamed each other for the
collapse. US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer said the Canadian negotiators made lith-hour demands that upended a draft deal worked out over days of negotiations.Carney, meanwhile, argued that it was the US that had changed its position, saying
"last-minute changes in the US proposed terms were unfair, uneconomic, and called into question the reliability of any deal."

Most of the recent changes in LGBTQ+ attitudes have occurred among Republicans. For example, in 2021 and 2022, 55% of Republicans said they favored legal same-sex marriage, but today, the figure is 37%. Can't be overstated just how deeply Republicans oppose (a) merit in employment; (b) functional government; and (c) the notion Americans have any shared interests. That's why they don't even feel a tension between "being a bigot" and "undermining national security." To them, the latter is irrelevant.

FREE SPEECH UNDER ATTACK: Marco Rubio just had a man arrested and jailed, and is seeking to deport him, because he publicly supported Petro and opposed a presidential candidate in Colombia that Donald Trump would prefer to be elected. He committed no crimes and had an asylum application pending.
Franklin Humberto Coral Garrido, a progressive online activist known as Beto Coral, is a supporter of President Gustavo Petro of Colombia, a leftist who has clashed with President Trump. He has publicly criticized Abelardo De La Espriella, a right-wing candidate backed by Mr. Trump. Mr.
Coral was arrested by immigration authorities on Tuesday, the same day Secretary of State Marco Rubio issued a memo determining that he was deportable from the United States.
In the memo, Mr. Rubio noted that Mr.
Coral arrived in the United States in 2015 on a tourist visa and has a pending asylum application. But "Coral Garrido has used his presence in the United States to conduct political activity in support of the Petro government" and has advocated against a candidate for president, Mr. Rubio wrote, according to a copy of the memo obtained by The New York Times.
