Thank you!🙏👍🍻 I got stalled around Epi Crestwoods and Coronets - couldn’t find a pic like yours of a Wilshire. Looks a nice enough guitar, probably a good value purchase for a member of an up-and-coming - but not well-known amongst a crowded field - indie band.

@weirdguita.rs @vintagesilvertones.bsky.social @steveroonie.bsky.social Any ideas what brand of guitar the singer of Macclesfield band Snowdrop is playing here? I’m thinking maybe Epiphone or Maton but can’t spot the model. (Pics are stills from a Youtube video on their website snowdropband.com)
B&W pic from a YouTube video of the indie band Snowdrop from Macclesfield, U.K. ‘One of the UK’s most exciting new indie bands,’ says the quote from Get Noticed Magazine. The band are playing in an empty outdoor park bandstand. The singer is playing a guitar and wearing jeans, a sweatshirt and a woolly beanie-hat (looks like they’re out in cool weather ). The drummer has a smallish drum-kit by some standards (well, they’ve had to cart all their gear out to the bandstand, after all!), and the bass-player is also partly in view along with the headstock of a second guitarist’s guitar.See the alt text accompanying the other pic.

Happy tenth anniversary to the time the Reading Chronicle didn’t know what a plant room is.
Crane disruption
AN enormous crane that will lift a room full of plants into a 14 sto-rey building will close town cen-tre roads in October.
Station Road and Garrard Street will be shut and Friar Street and Blagrave Street reversed between 5am October 15 and 5am October 17. The temporary measures will allow contractors working on the Thames Tower to install a 500 tonne crane that will put a prefabricated plant room onto the roof of the building.

The Facial Expressions of Tethys by artist Julius von Bismarck. A suspended high-sea buoy that moves in real time. Sensors on a twin buoy out in the Atlantic Ocean send live satellite data to motors inside the museum. This makes the indoor buoy copy the exact, real-time movements of the ocean waves.
