For now we live in a much more fragmented world. Apart from Bluesky, many have moved to Linkedin, others have stayed. Unfortunately, this seems to overlap with geographic divides. In political science, North-American and European scholars often make different choices and communities drift apart.

Academics flee Twitter/X for Bluesky. 🏃‍♀️🏃🏃‍♂️ 📈 While Twitter/X posts fell by 60% since 2023, Bluesky increased by a staggering 400,000%! Although in absolute terms, Bluesky still only accounts for a third of Twitter/X posts. Way to go!
