Trust me, I know it's really difficult to build the habit, but eating healthy does not have to be expensive or time consuming. My breakfast today cost me about 75 cents and took 6 minutes. I had old fashioned oatmeal, with 1/2 an apple, some butter, and about 1 teaspoon of honey It was delicious!!

I was about to buy the newest expansion for Easy Red 2, but then I noticed it was created using genAI. So instead of buying it, I've uninstalled the game and deleted both of my videos on youtube that featured Easy Red 2. There are plenty of other games I can play that aren't slop. Good riddance.

I've started to develop a new habit, and It's one I've been wanting to develop for a while. The habit is: while I drink my morning tea, instead of going on the internet I read a book. They say whatever you do first thing in the morning can set the tone for the entire day, and I feel that for sure!

Today ended up being a busy day, and a sad day. I didn't work on any of my projects, but I did: -cook breakfast -take a 4 mile walk -cook dinner -bake cookies -bury my step-dad's hunting dog, Rusty 💔 (he was a very old dog so we figured he was gonna pass away soon and today he did)

our insurance agent told us we could save money with a new policy, and I knew somehow it was going to actually cost us more, I just knew it they took updated photos of the house and noticed that the back deck is rotting now we have to get it torn down or we lose homeowners insurance entirely...

I've never used Claude and I never will, for a lot of different reasons. first and foremost because of the very real harm genAI is doing to human beings But it's also because I love writing code! And I like for my code to be simple and easy for me to understand when I'm looking for bugs FUCK genAI

I keep having dreams about my ex-wife, and in the dreams is concerned about me and very kind. Which happens to be exactly how she is in real life too. It didn't work out, but the fact that she still cares about me is an immense gift that I will forever be grateful for.
