I’m only dreaming now, but one thing I’d like to do as an OT is to run a clinic for autistic kids and adults where there are low-risk simulation rooms - like practice dentist offices, classrooms, and grocery stores. But for sensory, not behaviour, to see what accommodations would be helpful!

We aren't becoming something we're not; we're remembering who we've always been. We're born healers, storytellers, artists, and lovers. Our true selves have been here all along. We don't acquire these roles; we uncover them. We're not learning to love;

Far from ableist, cities that work for cycling also work for a variety of mobility devices. But the devil’s in the details: mountable curbs, plentiful curb cuts, smooth asphalt, lane width (minimum 2.3m/7.5ft per direction), visual cues, and gentle gradient (less than 2-4%) for bridges and tunnels.
