I’m only dreaming now, but one thing I’d like to do as an OT is to run a clinic for autistic kids and adults where there are low-risk simulation rooms - like practice dentist offices, classrooms, and grocery stores. But for sensory, not behaviour, to see what accommodations would be helpful!

Far from ableist, cities that work for cycling also work for a variety of mobility devices. But the devil’s in the details: mountable curbs, plentiful curb cuts, smooth asphalt, lane width (minimum 2.3m/7.5ft per direction), visual cues, and gentle gradient (less than 2-4%) for bridges and tunnels.

😂🙏 So I appreciate and respect that. I had challenges with my own parents and know it's really hard changing habits. But it's a habit not tech barrier. Jumping from X to Bluesky is a change, but we adapt. One day I hope we create a Facebook UI that is decentralized so switching is then easy.

Thank you. Very helpful. I'm still curious why families need Meta. Share a google drive (or alternative) for notes and photos, gmail, have regular hangouts/zooms. Interest groups organized pre-Meta/FB on websites and forums. Why give centralized power, when the Web can host and network already?
