Pretty much any movie involving space travel, but just for funsies let’s say Moonfall, and specifically the scene where they launched the Space Shuttle with like 2 people. (And yes we covered this on my podcast themontehalleffect.fireside.fm/9 )

TRAY THE TALKING SCHOOL CAFETERIA TRAY: Remember when city council defunded universal free school lunches for Important Budget Reasons
-then everyone yelled at them and they had to reinstate it?
-Right around that same time they also found out that SPD overpaid their officers by $13 million
-[growing angrier] and we still don't know if they're even gonna pay it all back!
-That's enough money to feed every public school student for 3 years!
-Anyways, “food” for thought!

American Space Cowboys — Die, Workwear!
It’s often said that America has not been this divided since the Civil War, but even these tumultuous times pale in comparison to the social unrest of the 1960s, when post-war America’s cleavages along race, gender, and sexuality threatened to rip the nation apart. Within ten short years, the United States saw the unfolding of [...]Read More...

Working on slides for my planetary geology class and am once again going through my pictures of Apollo astronauts making what I can only describe as "the fuckboy face."
Gene Cernan from Apollo 17 covered in lunar dirt and half-undressed from the EVA suit. The slightly blurry focus plus the dirt plus his facial expression gives the impression that he is about to send a "you up?" text.
