social media post featuring an image of an airport security line above a tweet.

Top text reads: "This would make airport security lines 20% more efficient overnight"

In the middle photo, passengers stand in line at an airport security checkpoint under a large electronic sign displaying three icons and instructions:

A shoe icon with "shoes: ON" (with "ON" in green)

A belt icon with "belts: OFF" (with "OFF" in red)

A laptop icon with "laptops: OUT" (with "OUT" in red)

Below the image, a tweet from stevemur (@stevemur) reads:
"I love the bit where at each airport it's one of the 8 possible combinations, but you don't know which, and they get exasperated when you ask"

A political meme composed of three side-by-side vertical portraits: Chinese President Xi Jinping standing at a lectern with the Chinese flag on the left, former U.S. President Donald Trump standing at a lectern with the American flag in the middle, and Iranian official Seyed Abbas Araghchi standing with the Iranian flag on the right. Below the photos, yellow and white text on a black background reads:

"THE UNITED STATES IS AT WAR WITH IRAN.

CHINA SELLS WEAPONS TO IRAN.

TRUMP OFFERS TO SELL WEAPONS TO CHINA

Powerful, brave writing by unionist columnist Sarah Creighton. ‘Drumcree is part of a planned, wider culture war. The belief that unionism must assert itself through a battle a day. ‘There is no sympathy for nationalism here, no shared future where they are our neighbours.’

For anyone still unsure of why the Garvaghy Road residents are so opposed to this 'march', this moment of coat trailing triumphalism by Paisley, Trimble & the OO & Loyalist paramilitaries led by Billy Wright, ensured this beleagured community were determined they would do everything to prevent it.

Important point: the residents are those of the Garvaghy Road, not Portadown as a whole. They are perfectly content letting the Order march anywhere else. Just not there, and for good reason. I don’t think it is an unreasonable demand on the part of the residents to just ask to move a tiny bit.

30 years of peace around Drumcree, deemed resolved. Indeed the issue long forgotten by 98% of the population. Until an inane decision by the parades commission coupled with unionist politicians vying for votes, regardless of the cost, caused it to rear it's ugly, sectarian head again.

The Drumcree march has been banned since 1997, just before the GFA was signed. Instead of marching home from drumcree church, the same way they went to church, they insisted on stomping down Irish Nationalist areas waving colonialist flags & banners. An ugly form of supremacism/bullying.

Israeli footballer sent off for 'gun celebration' in Nations League clash against Austria
Israeli footballer Sayed Abu Farchi was sent off against Austria in the Nations League for appearing to mimic using the corner flag as a gun in his celebration. The 20-year-old received a second yellow card for lifting the corner flag, resting it on his hand and lowering himself to one knee before quickly lifting it over his head. ### Some reports suggested he was imitating a snooker shot, as the player had celebrated the same way before. The 20-year-old received a second yellow card for the celebration, with Uefa rules deeming a player can be cautioned for "gesturing or acting in a provocative, derisory or inflammatory way". ### TRENDING Stories Videos Your Say ### A player can also receive a booking for taking out the corner flag. Israel's manager Ran Ben-Shimon suggested Farchi does the celebration for the Colorado Rapids and has not been booked before. Ben-Shimon said: "I've seen it before, and everyone can check. "When this young player scores, in the Israeli national team or the MLS or anywhere he plays, he celebrates in the same situation again and again and he never gets a yellow card about it. ### ### ### LATEST SPORTS NEWS * Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury fight to be held in UK as venue and date confirmed * Michael Schumacher's ex-performance engineer shares emotional insight into F1 legend * Simon Jordan accuses Andy Burnham of using sport 'for political gain’ as PM to end football beer ban ### "He didn't know about it, this is his way to celebrate every goal he scores. "He's a young player, I'm sure this lesson will stay with him a long time, he made a mistake." Uefa said: "The player received a second yellow card for unsporting behaviour and is therefore suspended for the next match." The Israeli FA was recently in the headlines after a campaign by the Republic of Ireland to boycott their matches against them. ### ### ### Ireland FA chief executive David Courell**** confirmed Uefa rejected their appeal not to play Israel, saying: "The answer I got was very clear. "That would not be possible, because Ireland and Israel have never been in direct conflict. That was an answer that I took at face value." Ireland's coach, Heimir Hallgrimsson, said many members of his squad were uncomfortable about playing Israel. He added: "We're not playing with genocide, we're playing against genocide." The Israeli FA responded on social media, taking aim at Hallgrimsson, writing: "We have contributed to the world and humanity in countless fields, earning an impressive number of Nobel Prizes along the way. ### ### ### "Unfortunately, we have not yet found a cure for stupidity, ignorance and hypocrisy displayed by @IrelandFootball team coach. "We're not playing with ignorance, hypocrisy and stupidity, we're playing against the coach who embodies them." Israel are scheduled to play Ireland on September 27 at 7.45pm, with the reverse fixture pencilled in for October 4. ### **Our Standards: The GB News Editorial Charter**
