I spent the last week sailing around Croatia in a catamaran with my best friends! Incredible experience. I would absolutely go back. Croatia is so beautiful!
Me, in white shorts and a white tank top, pressing a button at a public fountain to make water come out of a sculpture of a lion.Four friends and I, standing on a staircase near an old church with orange flowers in the foreground. My friends and I at the main waterfall in Krka National Park. Moments later, a heron flew over us and landed in the water nearby. My dad has appeared to us as a heron many times since passing away suddenly while on vacation in late 2024. Incredible. A picture of me, in the vanishing edge pool, on our final night in Croatia.

The strangest thing happened today. We went to the uninhabited island of Lunga, west of Mull, to look at the puffins nesting there. I was just taking photos when I felt a thump as something landed quite heavily in my head. It was a puffin! It stayed for about a minute before flying off.
A man with his back to the camera, wearing a blue jacket and a grey woolen hat. A puffin is sitting on top of his head. On the left, an arm holding a mobile phone can be seen. In the background, a green slope and the sea beyond. In this photo the puffin is taking off.
