Even if we ignore horribly maimed and killed part, by WW2 the battlefield was already “empty:” combatants rarely saw each other except in glimpses. No realism of value would be lost if re-enactment staged for display purposes didn’t have opposing forces at all.

Here’s a thread of some of the more unusual or obscure aircraft to fly in Britain during the Second World War. Some were only intended as experimental or proof of concept designs, while others never progressed beyond the prototype stage.

They’re just pouring more fuel onto the fire. Why are the racists consistently called legitimate, whilst in a world that’s burning people who protest over climate change and genocide are not being afforded even a smidgeon of the same grace?
