Was just pondering the rapid turnover of tech, forced upgrades & planned obsolescence, then realised that the screen I'm working on is an Apple Thunderbolt Display bought in 2011, still going, its camera still working, no dead pixels – kind of amazing really (PS Apple did not pay me for this post)

Today I set up a presence sensor in my office to turn the lights on when I walk in and off again when I walk out, which of course I kept doing (very addictive) but it could be improved even further if “He’s The Greatest Dancer” by Sister Sledge started playing when the lights come on, I’m on it
