Something I hope people will consider is that the reason there are so many enraging anti-education pieces coming out right now is that there's a full-court press from PR departments in tech & asset management. Nothing about the last year went according to script for their investments.

Just had Canvas stop working as I was typing comments on a student paper. I now can’t access anyone’s work or grades. Strangely, this never happened back when I used a grade book and had students email me their papers, a system no shareholders extracted money from.

The wealthy will keep their human teachers, the poor will get AI, and the middle class will have a mix of the two, initially anyway. Maybe eventually there will be gov. vouchers to purchase private human teaching because we care about equity after all. Surely a market for that and labor to exploit
