I’ve gone over my entire day and the only possible explanation for the weirdly symmetrically scrapped elbows is alien abduction.

Can someone explain how I scratched both my elbows from a day of sitting at my desk and walking around a classroom?

I watched The Drama last night and, hmm not much to say imo. BUT it did make me nostalgic for my years at Boston (green line and all) and miss ordering Tatte Bakery lunch from my office, walking across campus and having it be ready for pick up as soon as I walked in.

Hey, my grad students shared this wild copy of Unamuno's Abel Sánchez with a “Dutch door” die cut page vocab section. They know me well.
A Special Note on the Vocabulary
This volume offers a new departure in the handling of the Vocabulary. Instead of placing the Vocabulary at the end of the book, we have sliced the pages in two, so that the Vocabulary (Lower part) is a separate dictionary which is used independently of the text (upper part).
This "Dutch-door" arrangement enables the student to look up words with the greatest speed and convenience. He does not have to hold his place in the text with one hand and hunt at the back. As he reads his text page, he merely turns the pages
pendent of each other.
Words in the text that are marked with an asterisk are given extended explanation in the Vocabulary. The explanation appears under the asterisked word. (For example: the text passage that reads "Es una figura que ni a posta*» is explained in the Vocabulary under the word "posta," since "posta" is the asterisked word.)
The Vocabulary follows the usual procedure. On the next pag you will find the list of abbreviations.

Here to report that the collaborative annotation exercise went great! Good individual comments and, much more importantly, super generous and generative responses among the students! One small hallucination seeped in (likely from a bot overview), but others helped correct it, before I got to it!

Re Hispanic/Latinx/Latine Heritage Month, how did organizations get from "no Latinx" (for a variety of reasons), to putting an accent on Latiné? And the only, admittedly grumpy, conclusion I've reached is folks overpronounced the E at the end of Latine making folks believe the stress goes there?
