I’m sure when SNL hired Melissa McCarthy to play Sean Spicer that Trump decided to fire his ass, there was no coming back from that, being played by a woman was the last straw

A Republican eager to prove the former special counsel was dishonest appeared to instead demonstrate his own confusion over basic facts.

Screenshot of an X post by Eric Schmitt (@Eric_Schmitt), timestamped 6:54 PM on Sep 29, 2026. The post reads: “Who knew Jack Smith was a Caitlin Clark fan?” Below it, a Readers proposed context note says: “Still gathering ratings” and “Eric Schmitt accused Jack Smith of perjury during his congressional testimony because Eric did not know the difference between the Hawks and Hawkeyes,” followed by a truncated NBC News link.

The reason you only see zoom-in's for emphasis in movies/tv (and sports to a lesser extent) is because it's so hard to pinpoint when the action is gonna happen. This is absolutely incredible. The blink is what puts it over the top for me. Truly absolute cinema.
