I just read through it and from what I could gather, they actually taken in some feedback. For the most part, they're going to implement it to where it doesn't require selfies or ID cards. This isn't something to cause any of y'all to nuke your Discord accounts or go into mass hysteria.

If it doesn’t charge users and, so far, doesn’t serve them any ads, how does Duolingo make money? It tricks you into working as an unpaid translation service. At the end of some lessons, Duolingo will ask you if you want to practice by translating a real-world document. Which will turn out to be, say, a BuzzFeed article. By melding together enough stabs at this task from high-level Duolingo users, the app can render a surprisingly accurate translation. Which is worth good money. So far, Duolingo has contracts with BuzzFeed and CNN to translate stories from English into languages such as Spanish, French, and Portuguese. This service is already earning Duolingo hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, but von Ahn predicts he will be adding a raft of new clients soon. “The language translations market is huge,” he says. “It’s a $30 billion per year market.”

I don't want to quit art, far from it. But struggling to find mutual aid while I'm now juggling school, trauma therapy, new disabilities that I'm still trying to adjust to, along with the giant stack of meds that seems to increase by the day. It really hurts a lot.. I.. Don't know what to do anymore

On top of that, I've been diagnosed with some really huge life changing disabilities that have been really... Really tough to adjust and cope with.. And I wasn't even eligible for unemployment from the last place I was fired from back in May.. I hate saying this, but I'm genuinely suffering..

Hey y'all.. I apologize for my extended absence. This year has been WAAAAAY too rough on me to even consider drawing again.. While I was able to get a pell grant to cover an IT associates so that I can find better work, I STILL can't find something to keep me afloat while being a full time student..
