Well, Huub... I've been waiting a whole year for this! 😄 Believe it or not, I actually remembered. It's next summer now! Did you keep your promise and try it? I'm still curious to see how your ant squad reacted!

👋Haha, I'd like to claim that as a dramatic excuse, but real life was far more demanding than any "stalker." 😄

Satellite imagery shows a #Saharan dust plume moving from Mauritania into the Atlantic. Strong northeasterly trade winds lift and transport dry boundary-layer #dust offshore. Filamented margins indicate wind shear, mixing with marine stratocumulus, and reduced visibility. #AirQuality 📅 2026 Jan 07

Satellite imagery captures a ~255 km pollution plume from Iraq’s Wasit Power Station. Such persistence signals fine PM and reactive gases surviving long-range transport, driving regional aerosol loading, ecosystem stress, and diffuse health impacts far beyond the source—visible only from space.

It’s interesting how #satellites can now photograph each other from space, turning anomalies into visible stories. The #satellite staying mostly intact suggests a quiet failure, not a dramatic breakup. #Space is harsh, and reentry like this is a normal part of the cycle. #Starlink 🛰🌍 📸X @vantortech
Imagery collected by Vantor’s WorldView-3 satellite about 1 day after the anomaly shows that starlink Satellite 35956 is largely intact. The 12-cm resolution image was collected over Alaska from 241 km away.

One thing that is interesting though: in a nearby sea area, parts of the ice look scraped or cleared of snow, leaving smoother patches. Could be for surface activity or ice management—not necessarily subs. 3/3🧵

Short-term rainfall does not offset long-term hydrological imbalance. The issue is reduced inflow, high evaporation, sedimentation, and Caspian Sea level decline—rain alone cannot reverse structural drying.

The remarkably smooth, arc-shaped bands in the darker offshore waters are consistent with surface signatures of internal waves, which often appear as regular wave trains in satellite imagery. Their geometry and proximity to the continental shelf support this interpretation, not artifacts. Likely rea
