The failure times of river gauges deployed by Nepal’s DHM along the upper BhoteKoshi/Trishuli River indicate a maximum flood-wave propagation speed of at least 115 km/h (70 mph), possibly even higher near the Rasuwagadhi border checkpoint. You simply can’t outrun that.

In terms of temperature anomaly for the last three months (MJJ 2026 period), France is the most anomalous country in the world with +2.8 °C above the 1991-2020 average.

Today’s low temperature of 21.4°C in Camborne, Cornwall, was the highest May minimum temperature ever recorded in the UK and, in fact, the highest minimum temperature ever recorded at this station. This is a very significant record to fall by such an extraordinary margin.
