Thank you for coming forward. We need more voices from inside the uniform standing shoulder-to-shoulder with us to reject this extremism, protect our democratic norms, and demand accountability.

The simple answer, btw, is to pick a couple high-profile targets and destroy them. And the painfully obvious two to start with are (1) Elon's companies and (2) Oracle. The Oracle Corporation is one of the worst rent-seekers in the US. And Elon's just committing crimes left and right.

I mean, it’s an incentive thing right now companies, even ones who aren’t ideologically aligned with the GOP, do believe the GOP will fuck them over for not going along and they don’t believe Dems will impose consequences for that you’ve gotta change that, executives need to think twice

I had some moron recently assign malign intent to a comment I made like this one. I said "bitches" much in the same satiracle way Kim is using it. Live for humor, people. Kim gets it. I get it. It makes life more fun...especially when so much is shitty.

“Some lawmakers called illegal” Cowardly, sanewashing reporting by CBS. Implies room for debate where there is none. It is plainly illegal and unconstitutional. Just f'ing say it. Or, be consistent, and start saying shit like "Some policemen believe murder to be criminal" in your reporting too.

Understand the sentiment but I think the public's turn against ICE and war show something bigger happening: A broad rejection of right wing nationalism in all its guises. I think the impulse to ascribe base/limited motives to voters in this case might obscure the genuine meaning of what's happening.

I'm not one of those people claiming Musk stole the election somehow. But when you see numbers like this over a 24 month span you start to wonder how much of the swing might have been because 2024 wasn't really Trump +15. These numbers plus the pre-election 2024 polling suggest +15 is an outlier.

Canada reached a trade agreement with us, the President blew it up for no reason while threatening to annex them, and Congress didn't do squat about either. It sucks, it's objectively bad for America, but WaPo is outright lying that "spite" is driving Canada's policy. It's the only rational choice.

Brennan Center published a nice article about the dual strategy of disputing established polls and putting out low-quality or biased polls to muddy the waters on leading candidates. One worry is how this might mesh with GOP efforts to contest election results if/when they lose.

Ok so Trump is *promising* that he will pay every American adult $5,000 if Republicans win the House & Senate. And as I’m sure other astute observers are noting, that’s essentially a taxpayer-backed, congressionally unapproved $1.3 trillion bribe. He’s bribing the entire country—with our own money
