weather was so nice this weekend that i was able to keep me windows open for 24 hours straight for the first time since spring. celebrated with a chicken bacon ranch sandwich.

just learned that "true high speed rail" is 150mph+, and passenger trains that run faster than traditional rail but under true HSR (~90-150mph) is "higher speed rail" which means that high speed rail is faster than higher speed rail.

i think we could pretty easily get popular support for stricter punishments for driving infractions. like start suspending licenses for the more boneheaded offenses, or those causing an accident, etc. because even the most car-brained drivers think they're the good ones and want the idiots gone.

got a call the other day from an ai bot pretending to be a human ao i hung up on it. then it texted me. we had this exchange this morning and it stopped replying but i've missed 3 calls from loan depot since then.. so either it didnt work and the bot is still trying to reach me, or it did work.
