Transitioning later in life is weird (I'm in my late 40s and didn't start transitioning until my mid-30s). I'm still kinda pissed I didn't know I could have breastfed my kids, at least some, if I'd been out and supported earlier.

I was out with my (neuro)queer little family the other day, and my 15 year-old stopped to play chess with a gent of retirement age. They had to call it when the drizzle turned to a downpour, but they were both so excited! Kiddo saying that he wasn't going to win but it was so fun... that's chess.
