i quite genuinely didn’t sleep at all last night due to a combination of a new steroid course + quitting smoking + general illness & i’m sitting here still a bit too jittery to sleep at 2:30pm and now i’m concerned that life is imitating art am I one of the Sleepless now? 😳

i fell off the No Smoking wagon while writing book two this year but as of today i’m back on the No Smoking wagon and honestly this is rubbish. i hate it. the other wagon is better why does it also give you cancer

showing my age but Sonic the Hedgehog was the one I played ad infinitum on my uncle’s Sega before i was allowed my own console, my first was the N64 with Super Mario 64 & Shadows of the Empire which were MINE - but returning to gaming as an adult it’ll always be Dragon Age Inquisition for me!

probably the time james booked this very posh place i’d wanted to visit for AGES, but as we started it became clear i couldn’t eat (undiagnosed gastroparesis) but we’d pre-paid so they just kept bringing me these fabulous things & i kept not eating & having to apologise like NO IT’S NOT YOU IT’S ME!
