Bong Joon Ho took a characteristically radical approach when questioned on his thoughts around the rise of Al technology at the jury press conference of the Marrakech Film Festival on Saturday.
The Korean director, who is president of the jury, gave two responses, one measured, the other deeply personal.
"My official answer is, Al is good because it's the very beginning of the human race finally seriously thinking about what only humans can do. But my personal answer is, I'm going to organize a military squad, and their mission is to destroy AI," he said.

Thing is if teachers want the 6-7 trend to disappear, nothing would do it quicker than kids everywhere knowing that Keir Starmer does it.

The prime minister has apologised to a head teacher after leading primary school children in a version of the viral 6-7 dance meme.
Sir Keir Starmer visited Welland Academy in Peterborough with Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson on Monday to promote the expansion of the free school meals programme.
During the visit, Sir Keir was reading with pupils when one pointed out they were on page 67. The prime minister made the juggling hand gesture that accompanies the reference, prompting class-wide hilarity.
"You know children get into trouble for saying that our in school," a teacher told him afterwards. "We are not over that yet, the 6-7, it's still very much a thing."

I’ve just arrived at Huntingdon station and the first thing you notice is how quiet it is.
There are very few passers-by and many of the news crews that were reporting on last night’s incident have packed up for the day.
Every now and again that quiet is broken by a high-speed train going past. The east coast route is up and running again, although trains are not stopping here.
But at the station itself, forensics teams are still at work on the platform and inside the train where the stabbings took place, and in the station car park.
That evidence will no doubt form part of the investigation and help to build a picture of how this attack unfolded.

Suggestion for all TVs: Grandma Mode. Immediately removes motion smoothing, sets the 4:3 settings correctly for vintage repeats, and turns off Dolby surround sound so “you can hear what they’re bloody saying”, but all done with one button push.
