Fun day today. Starting with cleaning all the toilets in the house. Then I get to read all the documents about Frank’s death and what we want to do next. Followed by a property inspection by the local council AND a visit from our landlord (from Germany). Too much fun for one day!

Coming downstairs this morning, knowing Frank wouldn’t be there to greet me, was super tough. I’ve been up for a while, having had to go and cuddle my youngest because I could hear her crying. No water bowl to fill, no food bowl to top up. No patter of feet as he follows me back upstairs.

Watching an Icelandic crime series. For some reason, everyone is speaking English. Usually I find the Icelandic accent beautiful when speaking English. But in this series it feels like everyone’s getting the cadence wrong. Like an overdubbed Hong Kong movie from the 70s or 80s. Kinda strange.
