I swapped out my Assmaster's 1 meg pots for 500k and the shrill ice pickiness is almost completely gone without muddying the tone. Shoulda done this a long time ago. Now I'm gonna take it in for a fret dress because I'm murder on frets (and beg him not to look under the pickguard)

Ohh, I think you're right - it's the Classic Series '72 Deluxe which it seems does have regular HBs in a WRHB body. Would still need an appropriately sized pickguard, but that's encouraging for the cavity depth 🤔

A Fender Telecaster Deluxe Black Dove, a black Telecaster body with a black on white Deluxe style pickguard and two black P90 pickups (that part is very important!) and the Strat-style maple Tele Deluxe neck. Why can't I find one of these anywhere??
