I had the great pleasure of presenting at this month's AIMS conference alongside some truly fantastic presenters. Every talk was fascinating. I spoke about how Pat Barker's The Silence of the Girls uses both narration and, paradoxically, silence to give Homer's women a "new song" = new voices.
