I got to see the dolmens at Gochang! And they didn't disappoint:
A large square-ish stone sitting on four small blocks. These date mostly to the Bronze Age.Another large capstone resting on five small pillars. This is known as a 'go board type'.Another huge stone propped up on short dumpy stones. Each site is numbered - there are 470 or so in the area. Bright blue sky and pine trees beyond. This is a 'table type' dolmen - with long supporting stones, rather than separate pillars. The monument is surrounded by pine trees and a wooden fence and stands in the shade.

#StandingStoneSunday! Dolmen du Pech-Laglayre 2, Gréalou, Lot, France. The large covering slab of the Neolithic funerary monument weighs roughly 7 tonnes. 📷me 🏺
A large, weathered prehistoric stone dolmen sits in a wild grassy field. Its broad, flat gray capstone rests on upright stones, forming a low open chamber beneath; the rock surfaces are cracked, layered, and mottled with lichen. Small stones and wild plants surround the monument, with shrubs, a leafy tree, and a bright blue sky filled with broad white clouds in the background.
