The real MeToo “cancel culture” was what happened to the women and other victims who came forward. They were retraumatized, harassed, humiliated, sued, fired, and blacklisted. Then they were the subject of a revisionist history that MeToo went “too far” and deserved a reactionary backlash

Yes, Trump’s attacks on the Black community are egregious, but Black people have always been in the crosshairs. Desegregation may have happened but the government from Nixon to now has made sure to try to disenfranchise the Black vote and Black people and use negative stereotypes along the way

Gentle reminder: The fight for abortion rights and the fight for sex workers' rights are inherently connected because the major opposition to both is rooted in the idea that women do not deserve bodily autonomy and cannot be trusted to know what's best for them.

People really don't understand the concept of end demand models. End demand means get as many people out of the industry by any means. That could mean trafficking victims or sex workers who want to leave. But it can also mean anyone forced out by bad policy or even death.

One of the things I am doing in this moment is I got a ton of know your rights cards and am gonna distribute them to local food vendors, volunteer diaper distribution, churches, and grocery stores. Those cards are printable or buyable and can really help protect your immediate community.
