Bally Bagayoko's incredible bravery here has also been (admirably, very admirably) imitated by many other politicians who have tried to intervene on behalf of the high schoolers. There are also several clips of Anthony Smith, député européen LFI, trying to engage with the forces where he is ignored.

since people on here are chatting about Duchamp's Fountain, if anyone wants to know my lukewarm take, it's that i think the 1917 urinal-as-art piece is perhaps interesting in an additional way if you accept the slightly hotter take that Marcel Duchamp aka Rrose Sélavy really Had Some Gender Going On
a signed print of Rrose Sélavy photographed by Man Ray, in which she is frankly servingwikipedia screenshot of the sculpture Why Not Sneeze, Rose Sélavy? by Marcel Duchamp aka Rrose Sélavy. it's primarily sugarcubes in a cage, along with cuttlefish bones and a thermometer, and i am not gonna lie this title and material combination feels extremely trans to me

An illustration done mostly with digital colored pencils. Ok, so we have a wooden coffin in the classic top-heavy hexagon shape. The coffin is propped up at an angle on nothing against a background of gray-blue paint splatters as a spooky sheet ghost rises out of it. Although it’s not a real sheet as it’s translucent and there’s nothing inside of it except a gape-mouthed green skull in the approximate head position within the sheet. The ghost is wearing a big. floppy, black witch’s hat and there’s a little brown bat hanging down from the wide brim. The ghost’s arms are extended holding a jack o’ lantern with a one-toothed frowny face carved into it. Popping out of the jack o’ lantern is a a black cat with green eyes balancing the cap of the pumpkin on his head. And on the stem of the pumpkin cap is a very serious-looking brown speckled owl. A series of spooky speech balloons is chained together around all this , each balloon containing one word and associating back tot he spooks and creatures named in the reverse order listed. The lettering in the balloons is red and drippy and reads ‘Maybe it will happen today’.

Several weeks ago, Phil Tippett's legendary animation studio in Berkeley, CA closed. An anonymous hero noticed a folder of CDs. This turned out to be hundreds of unseen hi-res images and videos from Star Wars, Robocop, Jurassic Park, etc. ~90 isos for you to browse: archive.org/details/tipp...
A casual Star Wars alien fella at the cantina, in a sun faded, reddish photo. Someone will be mad at me for not knowing who this is. Phil, a balding Caucasian man, poses a model of the garthok, an antagonist from the Coneheads movie.Phil, a balding caucasian man, points at some CG on a CRT computer monitor, as a younger man looks on. The screen shows a model of a dinosaur attacking a jeep, while there's an actual physical model of that event in the foreground for reference.an isolated shot of a star wars vehicle.
