Apparently Houthis have hit the Saudi pipeline in at least eight places. It's used for exporting their crude to their Red Sea terminals instead of transiting the Strait of Hormuz. Satellite visual and NASA FIRMS thermal imagery along with the current Brent price.

I downloaded the entire English language Wikipedia to a tiny little gum-sized memory stick and our local ai is running through it at full speed taking only 100 watts of energy and when that's done we'll be able to ask any question, all locally, all free. It's insane, this is the future, today.

Well this is amazing! I picked up a 64GB minisforum ai x1 pro 470. This has a shared memory architecture so I've allocated 24GB to the graphics card. Then created a cherry studio knowledge base and dropped all my reference books around medical, solar, and survival topics. It works in real time! OMG

Completed a 9000btu 240v Tosot self install yesterday and everything worked the first time! Such a great feeling to flip the new breaker and hear the whirring and feel cold air blast out. With energy company incentives that was $100 plus wiring and vacuum pump.

It's local ai build out time. The intent is to make all of English language Wikipedia locally hosted at 100w power envelope. Then bolt on meshtastic-sized prompt responses to make it available to the city wide network. Everything off grid and solar powered. Useful ai can be sustainable.
