Yup. This is correct that this is Haudenosaunee land and I’m not sure if it was in the Toronto Purchase of 1805. In fact I’m almost positive it wasn’t.

Every year I talk about the village of Teiaiagon on a strategic cliff on what is now Baby Point in Toronto’s west end. And how a village of 4500 Haudenosaunee people was destroyed through targetted trade with settlers who provided infected items. Every year no one gives a shit.

"Lake Louise is a Canadian lake located in Banff National Park, Alberta. Situated 67 km from the town of Banff and 190 km from Calgary, its turquoise waters derive their color from rock flour—fine sediment created by the mechanical grinding of the bedrock by surrounding glaciers. The primary glacier feeding the lake is the Victoria Glacier, located to the west of Lake Louise. However, the water's emerald hue is at risk of becoming dull due to glacial melting, according to Janet Fischer and Mark Olson, biology professors at Franklin & Marshall College in Pennsylvania."

This is why I've always disagreed with the idea that "art" is purely subjectively defined. Art is a communication. The listener/viewer completes that communication in recieving it, but it is the intentionality of the creator that makes it art. "AI music" is no more music than traffic noise is.

Horizontal orientation photograph capturing the moat surrounding the Forbidden City in Beijing. A distinguished corner watchtower and the red walls are perfectly reflected in the calm water. In the foreground, an elderly man in a dark jacket is fishing from the stone bridge, leaning next to his bicycle with a basket. Weeping willow trees with light green leaves frame the right side. Natural light emphasizes the geometric patterns of the traditional roof and the symmetry of the reflections. Optimized for Chinese imperial architecture, Beijing tourism, street photography, reflections, and traditional daily life indexing.
