A note on how the book was made: I wrote it in Korean, and the English translation was produced with AI under my direction, with every scene reviewed against the original. The cover is AI-generated as well. I'll understand completely if that puts it outside what you'd like to read.

MineConnect CEO Marla Tremblay, whose organization represents Ontario’s mining suppliers, said the top concern she hears from members centres on the labour market. The MineOpportunity Challenge is essentially a response to those concerns.

“There’s always the conversation about how do we get youth to consider it?” Tremblay said. “How do we educate them about what mining really is and what kinds of jobs actually exist?”

I'm going to say it loud for the people in the back. Voice actors are artists and replacing them with Gen AI is unethical and immoral. This is different than a screen reader/accessibility tool which isn't giving a "performance." This is a machine trying to imitate human emotion and artistry.
