Right in the heart of the city what would be car parking in the UK is instead space for bike parking, greenery, and outdoor dining. When you make city centres safe and welcoming with cycle routes in every direction, you don't need endless car parks. Cities thrive when places are built for people.

In the 1930s, Christopher Nevinson turned towards a realistic, traditionalist style of painting, departing from the abstract modernist works of his early career and WW1 period. He looked for a period of peace and repose and found it in pictures such as 'The Strand,' in London.

Hard to believe that the Ancient House in Clare was once to be dismantled and shipped to the US. Saved by a local businessman in 1938. The exquisite pargeting on the Ancient House in Clare, Suffolk is a divine example of 15th-century high-relief work.
