In case this isn’t clear, all parties were working collaboratively to advance a new law on consent NOW. National withdrew from this collaboration in order to promise it would do this same thing AFTER THE ELECTION. Trying to slow down this change.

IT'S FEBRUARY 2026. THE RAIL ENABLED HYUNDAI FERRIES FOR I REX WERE MEANT TO ARRIVE BY NOW. Instead we have no rail enabled ferries, the two we have are clunky as fuck, and there will be no replacement ferries until 2029 at the earliest.

Experience in North Shore hospital over last three days and my god the staff work hard. Everyone is lovely, attentive and thorough - and the food is great. How lucky we are that it’s all free. Most of the nurses are immigrants - it’s clear they’re vital to our health system. Just saying. #nzpol
