We had a table at Auckland Zinefest at the beginning of August. We gave out dozens of masks, and people were interested in the zines at the table. The mini zines, “how to choose an air purifier” and ACT UP NY’s “Covid-Safer Pride Guide” were especially popular.

Yesterday I was reminded why I drive everywhere and don’t catch the bus in Wellington. Bus drivers don’t pull up to the kerb and don’t tilt the bus down to make access easy like they used to. Some of us have very short legs and it’s not easy. I miss catching the bus
