Veggie prepping for dinner later, and upon opening a normal looking round onion and taking off one layer on the top which had a yucky bit on it, underneath, inside the onion, was a “clove” of onion. When I clove it in half (ha ha) I found its own distinct onion rings inside.

I am in favour of stopping having “no smoking areas” and making designated “smoking *only here* areas” with ways of stopping me and my kids having to second-hand smoke. In the meantime, can we please police the no smoking areas better so people actually listen to them?
