I started my PhD program with an eight week old at home, sole income being my doctoral stipend, in a history program, in Knoxville, TN. And every month we got a new book to read to my son, free, mailed to us, so my kid, my kids, grew up in rooms full of books even when I had no money. That's Dolly.

My wee bebe Western Serviceberry is in the ground! It took me six days to do something it would have taken someone stronger probably 20 minutes to do, but it's done! Also planted a Sourberry / Fragrant Sumac in the spring, so that's another native habitat goal accomplished this year. Super happy :)

I think I just barely escaped a shockingly savvy scammer trying to get my bank credentials. First, whoever it was had my actual phone number, my actual bank, and the last 4 digits of my account. They sent a "was this transaction you" message that looked almost identical to the ones my bank sends.
