hello to any editors who want me to draw comics for them, I've redone my portfolio website and now the sequential works are both ample and in sequence. same goes for cover work, plenty of paintings and comic covers updated to be far more recent. www.carsonthornart.com

Reading about the Christa Pike case (Tennessee woman sentenced to death row, received lethal injection yesterday)… they BOTCHED her lethal injection? They gave her 2 doses and she’s still alive but in pain, so they wheeled her to the hospital for treatment instead. Oh my godddd

After 5 years of daily use my Tourbox broke (which I feel is a pretty good run ngl) 😔 I emailed support for a repair but they said the cost of repair would be more expensive than getting a new one, so I think I might try to repair it myself (theyre sending me a guide so thats nice!)

The other day I saw a Reddit post by a Japanese person who said she hated Japanese stationary because it’s so overengineered, so instead she pays extra to import American composition school notebooks to Japan because she loves how “low quality” they feel, relieving her of the pressure of writing 😭😭😭

With Control coming out, I'm remembering back then when I made hairpins based on Jesse's director suit. Kind of my first run at making jewelry-esque things. I learned a lot from it, and was happy with the second run with real gold plating. This is a photo and not a mock up btw LOL

I know there’s some diehard Asian household stereotypes but my dad is the most Chinese old man alive and he wears sneakers inside the house AND eats rice with a spoon, which makes me conclude he has ascended his level of Asianhood into “IDGAF Asian dad”
