I am now at the age where I have to regularly schedule mammograms and at this scheduling the computer system said you shouldn't have a covid shot in the six weeks prior to getting a mammogram and I am just curious if anyone knows what the reason is for that.

I'm not following this story, not my circus, or no dogs in that race, or whatever, but it keeps appearing in my timeline anyway, and this - combined with the Yandex data centre randomness - is fascinating as an illustration of our current "information environment". Good morning, and good luck :)

I'd *assume* the malicious bots would mainly run through proxies of some kind - and so potentially wouldn't appear in what Cloudflare would call bot traffic anyway?

In the vein of "public libraries could never be created today," a pitch for a calculator would get you thrown out of the boardroom. What do you mean, it just maths? Where are the ads supposed to go? How does it send usage telemetry back if it doesn't even have wifi? There isn't even a leaderboard.

Another great article, this time on taking a simple game/mechanic and stretching it for TTRPGs; I particularly liked the point about easy motivations for new players. ( similarly, although it comes with a lot of baggage around casinos, I can't help thinking that there's something to Roulette... )
