For those in England & Wales who don’t get them on the NHS: private flu & covid jabs are available from today. I’ve just had both at my local pharmacy. £115 for the pair. Yes, that’s expensive, but if you’re a freelancer & don’t get sick pay it’s probably a lot cheaper than taking time off.

We've had the ability to watch, say, Counterstrike marathons, Street Fighter tournaments, or chess matches between computers since the 90s. Spectacles which, by their very definition, would be at a "higher standard" than human play. And nobody wants it. It's entirely meaningless. It has no appeal.

Good summary of a weird issue - I'm an advocate for Hanlon's Razor: "never assume malice when stupidity would explain the events" - especially where technology is concerned. But.... I wonder here if sellers have figured out how to tie-up rivals' inventories? "pugatory" is the right word here...

If you have post-COVID IBS-D, or post-COVID worsened IBS-D, and someone willing to write you a script, I found some research where Imipramine helped almost all subjects with IBS-D. I started taking it a four months ago and the IBS-D is 95% better. It significantly improves my QOL.
