You found it. River In The Pines IPA is our latest seasonal release, brewed in collaboration with our friends at Adnams. A modern take on a classic IPA, brewed to accentuate everything we love about Centennial hops and pushed further with a solid charge of HBC 522. Available now while it lasts.

Great powers have always, to some extent, written the rules for themselves. But this should be a reminder that for all we might lament the “rules based order”, it’s largely gone, if it ever existed. Hard power is the only thing which matters now. Europe needs to wake up to the new realities.

For those who ever doubted me about the age of what we know as Smithwick's ale, here it is straight from the horse's mouth in an advertisement in 'Kilkenny Sixty-Six.' It clearly states that the newly launched kegged ale 'Smithwick's Draught' is 'the new flavour in beer ...' (Ignore the 250 years!)
And over 250 years of tradition

For over two and a half centurics Smithwicks have brewed
Ireland's finest ales and beers in the heart of Kilkenny. Traditional brewing has produced such great names
as Time Beer, Smithwicks No. 1 Ale, Time Barley Wine and Smithwicks
Draught ... the new flavour in beer.

Now, in their 3rd century, Smithwicks have built a brand new
brewhouse, one of the most modern in Europe.. . combining
traditional brewing methods with the most up to date equipment
available.

Conducted tours are held each weck-day at I1 a.m. and 3 p.m.
